About Me
I am 36 and have always worked with children since I left school. I am very much a family person and have 4 young nephews that are a big part of my life (3-12 year olds).
I am a very active person and enjoy the outdoors. I like to explore new places. I also enjoy going to the gym 3 times a week.
My Experience
I have been working with children in day nurseries since 2006, looking after 0-5year olds. I have worked my way up from Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager. I currently run an Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. Working and developing children is what I enjoy most. I have a comprehensive knowledge of child's development and like to work in partnership with parents to help children achieve their milestones. Having worked in day nurseries for several years, I am now looking for a change. I have been with my current company for over 15 years.
I am known for being friendly, calm, and approachable. I am committed to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children.
I have a enhanced DBS and am on the update service.
I am paediatric first aid trained and throughout my career I have attended many other training courses.
My Qualifications
I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2006. I then went on to complete my Foundation Degree in Early Years in 2011.
My Availability
I am available to work full time and evening and weekends for babysitting.
