About Me

I am looking for a mother's help, as we are expecting our second child in January 2024. My husband and I live in Kingsnorth, Ashford and we both work full-time (though I'll be on maternity leave for the first half of 2024). We have a 2.5 year old boy who goes to nursery full-time, as well as two friendly dogs.

We have no family around to help with childcare, therefore I'm seeking a mother's help especially to help me with running the house and looking after my newborn once the baby is here. Duties will include light housekeeping (we already have a cleaner who comes once a week), folding clothes, light tidying up, etc., and helping me with the care of my children, giving me an extra pair of hands and some relief. Cooking meals (once a day, every day or every other day) would be a massive bonus, and my husband and son are both vegetarians.

I'm currently thinking of 4 days a week (ideally not weekends), 4-5 hours a day, more during the second half of the day -- but, these can all be negotiable.

This is to start from the beginning of January 2024, for about 3-6 months.

Fantastic nanny, been a massive help!

Sam has been amazing with my baby since he was born in January 2024. She's very knowledgeable, experienced and confident in handling everything relating to baby care - including caring for the mother and helping with running the house!
I had a C-section and Sam has made my life so much easier, putting my mind at ease and being a great person to have proper adult conversations with so I didn't feel as isolated with a baby in the house like I had done last time! She has taken care of my son (and occasionally my 3 year old) from Feb-Jul 2024 as a nanny and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Both my sons love spending time with her. I'd always recommend Sam, she's very capable and an amazing person!
