About Me

Hi there!

I’m looking for a caring, down-to-earth childminder (or possibly a nanny) who could help us out with after-school care on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, until about 6.00–6.30pm (depending on traffic).

We’ve got two girls, aged 6 and 8 (Years 2 and 4), who are full of character and energy after a busy school day. They love dancing (they both compete in ballroom and latin formation teams), singing, and generally being little performers, but after school they’re usually happiest just unwinding, playing & watching TV.

We’re ideally looking for someone who can:

• Welcome them warmly and help them feel safe and cared for
• Offer a relaxed environment to unwind in
• Prepare and serve them dinner
• Support and encourage them to get their homework done

We’ve established that no local childminders collect from their school, so we’re planning to arrange safe taxi transport to get them to someone based nearer to our home (Milton Regis or surrounding areas).

Although our preference is a childminder (as our house usually looks like its been hit by a bomb), we are open to considering a nanny if it’s the right fit for everyone.

My husband is a nurse and I work for a school academy in London (although I'm not a teacher), so our days can be long, but family is everything to us, and we’d love to find someone kind, reliable and warm who we can trust and get to know.
