About Me
Hello,my name is Jo I’m a qualified nanny & I have had many years experience looking after children 0-12 years.
I am looking for a part time nanny position 2 full days per week & am also available for adhoc nannying or babysitting if required.
I am married with 2 grown up daughters, the eldest a cycling instructor and the youngest a Forest school leader.
We have a dog and a cat and live in Tiptree.
I am a non smoker, have my own car & have held my driving license for many years.
My hobbies include walking, Baking,reading & keeping fit.
I enjoy entertaining children with Arts & crafts, singing educational nursery rhymes/songs, baking and planning fun adventures with them to the zoo,museums, beach,story/rhyming time at the library, music & toddler groups & parks etc to interact with other children.
I believe children learn best through play,outdoor experiences & being close to nature.
I had worked for my previous family for 10 years from when the little girl was 3 months old and sadly this position came to an end as she was boarding more often.
I had been working for my last for family for 18 months looking after two children 9 & 6 years.
But left to take some time out to travel.
I have been working for my present family for almost a year looking after two boys 9 & 11 years.
I will be available 2 full days per week from April Tues, Wed,Thurs or Fri.

Many years experience with sole charge of children from birth to 12 years- working as both live in/daily nanny in uk & Australia & have worked in nurseries in uk & Australia.

Two full days Tues, Wed,Thurs or Fri & Adhoc babysitting Fri or Saturday evening.

Jo looked after our 6 and 9 year old and helped us around the house, including preparing healthy meals, for 18 months. Jo was always punctual and reliable. She is very caring and proactive and always found fun activities for the children to do in the school holidays. We will miss Jo.

JoJo has been our Nanny for the last 4 months and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough, she has been punctual, caring, intuitive and has always found ways of keeping our 1 year old Hugo entertained. Hugo and JoJo developed a lovely bond over this time and Hugo would always get excited when he knew of her arrival, which gave me the reassurance that he enjoyed his time with her. We would have kept JoJo forever if we hadn’t of moved overseas.
We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
