About Me

I have 21 years of childcare experience and have cared for children from 3 months to 15 years old. I have worked in nurseries for many years and was also a full-time nanny for a family with three children for 9 years.

I have many years’ experience working with a child with autism and ADHD, which I found incredibly rewarding. I am trustworthy, caring, fun and reliable, with excellent timekeeping. I am flexible with my hours and always take pride in being dependable and professional. I am very personable, detail-focused and enjoy making a positive difference to the families and children I work with.

I am able to communicate confidently and comfortably with both children and adults of all ages. I am open, enthusiastic and always happy to learn and develop new skills. I can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from 21 years of working with children in a variety of settings.

I particularly enjoy interacting with children through creative activities such as arts and crafts, baking, reading and educational play. I find encouraging and supporting children’s development incredibly rewarding and enjoy helping them learn, grow and build confidence. I especially enjoy reading stories and bringing them to life by using different voices and expressions to keep children engaged. I am also great with pets and am very happy to help with them as part of my role.

I hold NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare. I am also registered with the DBS Update Service. I can provide a portfolio containing my qualifications and references.
I am looking for a two day a week position.
