My Experience

I have worked in Early Years (nursery) settings in both Australia and England since 2014, with children from 3 months to 6 years of age. During this role, I developed the skills and knowledge to change nappies, toilet train, make bottles, wean, help children with seperation anxiety, promote development and manage food hygiene.

I began babysitting in 2015 and have looked after children from 6 months to 14 years in their own homes. As part of this role I have taken toddlers to dance lessons, picked up siblings from school, prepared meals, taken children to local parks and joined in activities such as puzzles and role play at home.

I have also volunteered in an SEN school with students ages 6 to 18 years of age with diagnoses including ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Angelman’s, FAS. Here I worked in both a classroom settings, and in the school swimming therapy classes.

I am currently employed as a private Nanny for two primary-school aged children on Mon-Thurs afternoons.

My Qualifications

Level 2 in Childcare equivalent (I hold an Australian Certificate 3 in Children’s Services)
Bachelor of Psychological Science
Paediatric First Aid including CPR
Safeguarding training
Food Hygiene certificate

• Nannying from £13.00 per hour (net)
