About Me

Hi there! I am a qualified primary teacher, with a Masters Degree in Education. I have completed my first year of teaching, and I have obtained GTCS full registration.

I have dedicated over 5 years of study to working with children of primary school age with diverse needs. I recently received an 'exceptional score' of 6 out of 6 score for my teaching performance in my first year of teaching, earning commendations for creating a positive classroom ethos, fostering strong relationships with pupils and their families and for my innovative lessons.

I am a kind, enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who can be depended upon to work hard for learners. I recognise that each child is unique and I am confident in my ability to assess learners’ gaps to meet their individual needs. My approach to teaching is child-centred, nurturing and interactive, and I strive to make learning fun and enjoyable.

I believe one of my key strengths is to build effective relationships with learners and I strongly believe in raising learners' expectations of themselves. Each lesson is personalised to meet the needs of the individual child, incorporating the child's voice and the child's interests where possible.
