Hello,
We are looking for a babysitter to look after our two boys, Oscar (10) and Jack (7) for one evening a week as well as a Saturday morning.
Jack is generally very easy going and chatty. Oscar takes a bit longer to warm up, hes autistic and he’s not a big fan of change or new people but is very chatty and fun once he is comfortable.
As a family we enjoy nature and animals - we have a dog, cat and a snake.
We have never had a babysitter before but think it could be the perfect solution for us to allow us to get some time back. But equally because we think it would be great for the kids to make a bond with someone else and for all of us to share our family life a bit.
We think the role would suit someone who enjoys having fun with the kids but also able to maintain boundaries with them and support Oscar with his emotions at times. Any experience of or interest in working with autism would also be great. As would anyone who enjoys gaming, skateboarding, or Lord of the rings (Oscar’s special interests!)
