Dear family,
I’m Sarah and I'm looking for a weekend nanny position. I have 7 years of experience in childcare and confidence in looking after children aged 6 months to 15 years old.
I’m a calm person with big patience and a love for children. I’m a friendly, easy-going, caring, organised, creative, active and positive person. I enjoy doing activities with children such as arts and crafts, mini science projects, baking, playing imaginary games, sports games, and taking the children on outing, excursions and trips to the park.
The most important to me in looking after children in my care is their safety and wellbeing. I ensure safety in the play area, outdoors and indoors, and the food they're eating. I also ensure that their well-being is looked after so that they're happy as they learn and grow.
In my discipline style, I usually apply positive discipline by giving praise and encouragement, teaching problem-solving skills, and working with children to develop solutions. I also apply behaviour modification techniques by rewarding and praising good behaviour in a form of rewards, tokens, stickers, stars or any healthy rewards that motivate the children. Misbehaviour will be discouraged by consequences such as not getting a star or a reward. I also support and teach children about their feelings and help them the right ways to deal with their own emotions so they can use their words to express how they feel rather than act on them as well as teaching them good manners. Although, I am happy to follow parents' discipline style.

My Experience
I have 7 years of experience nannying and babysitting children aged between 6 months old to 11 years old.
The experiences taught me various experiences with different families.
From baby daycare :
• Supervise the baby and ensure the environment is safe and clean for the baby to practice crawling and playing
• Playing with the baby and reading books to the baby
• Organise and ensure refrigerated breastmilk is safe and fresh to drink
• Feeding the infant on a schedule
• Changing nappies and bath the baby
• Making up bottles and weaning
• Cleaning/ Sterilising baby bottles
• Doing the baby’s laundry and ironing
to taking care of kids above 2 years old
o Potty Training on schedule
o Prepare the kids to school
o Preparing breakfast and packed lunch or snacks for the kids
o Send the kids to school and pick them up after school
o Educational activities and crafts
o Indoor and outdoor play
o Cleaning and tidying the house, bedroom, kitchen and other areas
o Teaching the 5yo kid to read and helping with their homework
o Helping the mom in the kitchen
o Do the children’s laundry
o Preparing healthy lunch, dinner for the kids
o Read stories
o Taking children to playdates with her friends
o Caring for the children when they are sick or injured and administering medicines.
o Communicating with the parent on all aspects of care of their children.
o Full babysitting in the weekend or when mom travels for a few days.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
The fees are part time rate but also negotiable. I’m happy to negotiate for full time
