Isabelle
Babysitter in Manchester
My Summary
About Me
Hello!
I am a Manchester-based artist with childcare experience from ages 1 - 13 years. I currently work full time in a nursery, but I have previous nanny and babysitting experience.
My friends would describe me as kind, patient and calm. I love hosting creative activities or organising outdoor play. I am confident with children and am able to hold space for them to understand and communicate their emotions.
I am also available for Tutoring services! I received 9 GCSE’s (A* - B) and 3 A-levels (A*, A, C) so I have a great understanding of the work and learning that goes into achieving great results, and I would love to continue to share that knowledge.
I studied Illustration with Animation as my degree in Manchester and I have lots of creative hobbies because of it! I love the outdoors and grew up in a very active family. I enjoy yoga, running, mountaineering, camping, wild swimming and snowboarding!
I am half French and I speak fluent French so I can confidently teach on request. I am musical and learned violin up to grade 6 and piano up to grade 4, so I am able to help with instrument practice with your child if needed!
I am a confident cook and love to make healthy vegan or vegetarian dishes. I also have housekeeping experience and experience with dogs (I have my own greyhound!)
My Experience
I am employed full time at a nursery in Didsbury.
I am currently undertaking my Level 3 early years qualification and I will soon be completing my Pediatric first aid training. I have a Level 2 Food hygiene certification.
From September 2021 to March 2022 I was a nanny for two boys ( 1.5yrs and 5yrs) 3-4 times a week. I was responsible for after school/nursery pick up, organising after school activities and cooking dinner. Occasionally I did full days with them both.
Between 2013 - 2017 I have babysat for several families with children aged 4 - 13 years old, some with neurodivergent needs. This was on a weekly basis where I was often responsible for cooking dinner and making sure the children were in bed on time.
For 6 months I hosted multi-sensory workshops at Manchester Museum that combined play with art as a way for children to explore both their senses and imaginative play. The workshops ran as part of the museums autism-friendly early opening that allowed children to experience creative workshops in an environment that was quiet and not over-stimulating.
