About Me
Hi my name is Kiren and I am seeking a childcare position. I am a responsible mature nanny who has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for kids. I get along very well with little children and love seeing their development and growth. I am an easy going and approachable person. I have a calm personality and can make a warm loving environment for children to help them thrive. This is something which I strongly believe in and have always promoted in my home with my own children too. I like to listen and understand how children feel and always make them feel comfortable to speak freely. I find this helps towards building a strong and trusting relationship with the child.I am a highly organised and efficient person. I can expertly juggle multiple tasks at the same time without getting flustered.
My Experience
I have many years of experience looking after children. I have bought up my own 2 children who are now grown adults along with children of my family and friends. I also been a nanny to two families in a professional capacity until the pandemic started and two families since then. I’ve cared for children ranging from 10 months - 12 years old. I love to cook fun interesting meals and snacks and also like to bake regularly. I am great at rustling up something healthy and nutritious to eat with whatever I can find in the fridge.
My Qualifications
I don't hold any formal child care qualifications as such, but have bought up my own two children and helped bring up my nieces and nephews. I believe hands on experience can be very valuable when it comes to daily interaction with children. In reality text book experience is sometimes not enough.
My Availability
At the moment I am only seeking babysitting roles. I can be available most evenings, weekends and school holidays. I am a responsible and careful driver with my own car.
