My Experience

I have worked with children from a young age and been around lots of children since I was little, in my career path I am working with children and young people in the outdoors. As a teen I was a young leader in the local girl guides club and during Covid I embarked on a 4 month trip to Italy where I volunteered in a Montessori school and worked first hand in an entirely new setting with many unconventional methods. I taught Italian children English and set up many interactive successful sessions of 'play-based' learning. Since I completed a Level 3 diploma in Outdoor Pursuits at Exeter College I have been working at an outdoor centre in Sussex where a variety of diverse groups visit for school residentials and also summer camps covering the Greater London area. Due to this I have broad experience for age ranges and meeting the needs of individual children I would like to think of as a well rounded ability of mine. I have also worked independently babysitting for years and would love to progress my experience with SEN work.

My Qualifications

Valid DBS.
Valid First Aid Certificate.
Outdoor qualifications.
Experience in pool lifeguarding and sea swimming.

My Availability

Daytime
Evenings
Weekends
Ideally I just need to know as far in advanced as possible so that I can arrange plans as unfortunately I am in the process of learning to drive.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

During daytime hours I charge £12.50 and up to £15 overnight, this is negotiable depending on circumstances.
