About Me
Hi, I am Garyfalia, a calm, patient, smiling and positive person. For the last 8 years, I have been working as a full time live-in nanny for the same Greek family in London, looking after their three children (two boys and a girl). I joined the family over 8 years ago when their son was 6 months old and have seen him grow to a nearly 9 years old and be joined by two siblings (now 4 and 6yrs old), that I have looked since they were newborns. The family are relocating abroad due to Brexit and I am looking a full time position either live-in or live-out in London starting in July. My native language is Greek.
My Experience
I absolutely love being around children, caring for them and playing with them. I am a very patient person and have strong experience in both caring for newborns as well as looking after and engaging with older children. I love creating arts and crafts activities for children, playing board games with them, reading to the children and providing stimulating play and making sure they feel happy and secure.
I have taken full responsibility for looking after the children, following the routines for the babies, doing school drop offs and pick ups, accompanying them to after school activities, arranging play dates, organizing outdoor activities. I am in charge of cooking healthy meals, bathing and dressing the children, organising their wardrobes, packing for travel, organising bedroom/toys and light housekeeping.
My Qualifications
DBS checked, pediatric first aid course, have a childcare courses such as “Psychology of infant, child and adolescent development”. UK settled status (Indefinite leave to remain). Speak Greek (Native language) and English
