About Me

My name is Kelly, partner to Jon and mum to two beautiful daughters. I like to keep fit and healthy (sometimes), and can appreciate a really good traditional Afternoon Tea.

When I became a mum for the first time I was full of excitement and apprehension. I did what most soon to be parents do and went to antenatal classes, read copius amounts of books, spoke to friends and family. Nothing really prepared me for how exhausting the first few months would be. But I was in love.

My fourth trimesters, with both of my girls, were very different. Just because you’ve had a child before, does not automatically mean “Ahh you’re a mum already, you know what you are doing”. Every baby is different and each one comes with their very own personalities and behaviours.

A period of time arose, where a career contemplation was needed, so, I took a deep breath and really looked at what I wanted to do. I love people, I love to support and help those around me and I love babies. Even before I was blessed with my two darlings, I have always been fascinated with how babies develop and become little people. It’s incredible!

After training with Younique Postnatal; I became a Postnatal Doula. I am super excited and passionate about helping parents and their bundles and I can’t wait to meet you and your family and support you through one of the most magical things in the world!
