About Me
I am an experienced Ofsted registered Childminder.
I live in Central Romford 5 minutes from Romford Station /Queen Elizabeth line and numerous bus routes.
I am walking distant to the Town centre where I visit various parks -library - playgroups -soft play & children centre.
I am a mother to 4 grown up children age from 21, 29,36,38
and i have 5 grandchildren age from 7 weeks 3,4,7,11.
I offer full day care and also school drop off and pick up from Parklands Primary School.
All my children and now 2 of my grandchildren attend there.
My home is a loving, clean safe enviroment with a No Smoking Policy.
I have Play Room with various age appropriate toys and resources to cater for the children’s needs.
I love to spend time outdoors with the children, and enjoy going on outings to the local Parks, Nature Reserve, Childrens Centre, library and Play Groups.
My Experience
My Childcare Experience is that of being a Mum of 38 Years raising my 4 wonderful children, and supporting their individual needs, and now also a Grandmother to 5 Grandchildren.
My previous Employment:
Senior Playwoker, looking after children from 3yrs-14yrs, having fun while keeping the children safe fit and healthy at a School Holiday Club based in a members only Health Club.
Secondly as a Manager co-ordinating the Children's Activity Programme at a members only Health Club planning and participating in recreational activities from the age of 3yrs-12years.
And lastly as a Creche Manager in a Health Club caring for babies and children from 3months-5years, following the learning Development requirements of the EYFS.
My career as a Childminder commenced in 2013.
Please note my last two Ofsted inspections the outcome was ‘Met’ this can only be awarded as I did not have any children on the early years register at the time of visit. Only after school children were present .

Marieas has been my son’s childminder, and honestly, I could not recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she has been so attentive, caring, and gentle with my son, making him feel completely comfortable and welcomed in her home. She creates such a warm, family-oriented environment, and her children and grandchildren treat my son like one of their own, which means so much to me as a parent. Her setting is always spotless, organised, and full of love, and she is incredibly active with the children, regularly taking them to parks, play areas, and little outings that my son absolutely loves. He enjoys every second he spends with her and is always asking to go back on the days he doesn’t attend. What I appreciate most is how supportive and communicative she is, always keeping me updated with pictures and messages throughout the day, which gives me so much reassurance and peace of mind. She also supports parents with their child’s development and learning, and during our current potty-training stage, she has been so patient, understanding, and helpful every step of the way. If there are ever any concerns, she communicates them with care and honesty, which I truly value. It is so clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for the children she looks after, and I honestly do not have a single complaint. I feel so lucky to have found her and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a trustworthy, loving and dedicated childminder.

Our 10 year old son has been with Maria since he was 5 months old. Maria is the best childminder you could wish for. She is caring, committed and our son always looks forward to go to Maria’s after school. There are always activities to do and there is the perfect family atmosphere for the kids. Maria is professional and always puts the children’s needs first.

Maria looked after my both my girls, my eldest is 15 now so doesn’t need childcare, but she looks after my 6 year old and has been since she was 4. Maria is wonderful with the children, I’d be lost without her. Ava always has the best time when she’s at Maria’s, they always do activities.. Ava loves her time there. Would 100% recommend.
