My Experience

I have been childminding since January 2022, when I began my journey in early years care. During this time, I have gained valuable experience caring for children from as young as four months old, including twins and children with additional needs and disabilities. I am deeply committed to providing high-quality care and continually work behind the scenes to keep my training up to date, as I am always eager to learn and improve my practice. Recently, I completed the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) qualification for early years settings, enabling me to further strengthen and support my provision. In 2024, I received my first Ofsted graded inspection and was proud to be awarded a Good rating in all areas. My aim is to ensure every child is confident, supported, and school-ready. I pride myself on offering a warm, loving, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe and valued. We laugh together, learn together, and grow together every day.

I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and work hard to make sure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive at their own pace. I am always updating my skills and training behind the scenes, so I can provide the very best care and support for your little one.

My Availability

My working hours are currently 07-30 - 17:30, Monday - Thursday.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

Fees & Funding Policy;

Accepted Payment Methods I accept:

*Government funding for all eligible ages

*Tax-Free Childcare

*Private rates

Private Fees:

*£50 per day or £5 per hour for shorter days

*Private fees are payable in advance

Government-Funded Hours:

*Funded hours are fully free to parents, with no extra charges

*Funding is available from the term after your child turns 9 months old

*Funded hours cover term-time only; any additional hours during school holidays are available at private rates and will be clearly explained in your contract

Meals & Snacks:

*I provide fresh fruit, vegetables, healthy snacks, water, and cow’s milk

*Parents are asked to provide formula milk, nappies, wipes, and meals for their child as needed

Attendance & Payments:

*Children should attend their agreed contractual hours unless unwell, on holiday, or on a planned day off that has been discussed with me

*All contracted hours must be paid for

*There is no charge if I am off, unwell, or on holiday

Contracts & Notice:

*A contract must be signed by both myself and parents/guardians before care begins

*A four-week notice period applies for ending the contract or changing hours

*While I strive to provide a positive and supportive environment for every family, I reserve the right to terminate the contract immediately if I feel it is necessary for the safety, well-being, or best interests of the children in my care.
