About Me
My husband and I are in our early 30s and work full time. We have a 10 year old daughter and a 5 year old. I am Mexican American and my husband is Peruvian/Mexican American.
I speak Spanish and English (both native proficiency). My husband speaks Spanish and English (both native proficiency) as well as some German, Portuguese.
My Requirements
Part Time Housekeeping Nanny: We need help managing our house and child.
My husband and I both have jobs but have flexibility to work from home frequently (one of us is typically home every day of the week). However, we would appreciate help keeping the house organized, picking up the kids, and keeping an eye on them after school especially if we have later work events.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable and flexible to split duties between childcare and tidying up the house as needed.
Tidying chores would be: cleaning, organizing, snack prepping, feed the kids easy meals or reheat food I've cooked.
Children pick up would be required at 3:30 or 4:30pm. The school is literally located in front of our house.
Hours are flexible but definitely 3pm - 6:30pm. We would like Monday to Friday but could also be ok with Tuesday to Thursday
We've had a housekeeper nanny for the past few years and she has been an amazing addition to our family. She is self motivated, takes initiative, and driven (doesn't need me to tell her what to do) and my kids absolutely love her. She tends to clean before kid pick up and then spends time with the kids after school pick up. Unfortunately, she is moving back home to her country so we are in need of finding someone else to help us.

Paloma has been helping me in my house for about a month already. She has been amazing and made my life so much easier.
She is extremely professional, kind, dedicated, and punctual. She always has a great attitude. My kids love her and quickly warmed up to her.
As far as her work, she is such a quick learner. She is detailed oriented and conscientious. She is also very proactive.
She is able to adapt and quickly change gears. I have so many examples of this. A recent one: I asked her last minute to pick up my daughter because I had a last minute call. I turned on the oven in hopes of heating up food for when my daughter came back. I got carried away in my work call. Over an hour later, I come out and my daughter is happily playing in the living room. Paloma got back from school pick up and noticed the food wasn’t put in so she cooked the food, fed my daughter, and cleaned up all without even being told or asking me.
As our home is comprised of 2 FT working parents, having her around has been extremely helpful! I am so glad she is part of our family.

My son has been under Zohra's care for about a year now and it has been such a wonderful experience.
Zohra has many amazing qualities that make her by far the best childcare giver I have hired. She is patient, punctual, loving, reliable, honest, conscientious, caring, giving, compassionate, and always has a great attitude.
I've seen my son flourish under her care. He went from being very attached to me to very independent all while under her care. She never gave up and was extremely patient with him. Most importantly, my son quickly grew attached to her and her family.
Zohra takes it upon her self to ensure the kids under her care are having diverse experiences. She is always attending play groups or doing activities to keep the kids entertained while learning. She also has a lovely set up at home with a garden for the kids to play.
Outside of her daily duties, Zohra has gone above and beyond for my family. She is such a genuine person who truly cares for the children and families. There were countless instances where she stepped in when we couldn’t be there for our children (worked extra hours or on the weekend, took my son to the GP, etc). It was such a relief as we have no family in the UK. Even my daughter (age 7 and in primary school) enjoyed spending time with Zohra.
I can’t say enough good things about Zohra and my family is so happy she is part of our life. When I'm at work, I never have to worry about my son as I know he is in the best hands.
I highly recommend Zohra to anyone looking for a warm and loving childminder in Notting Hill.
