About Me
Hi I’m Emily! I’m 30 years old and live in Bexhill, East Sussex. I have worked in childcare since 2014 and I am a mummy to my gorgeous 3 year-old son.
I have worked in a variety of nurseries; including with preschoolers at a private school setting, as well as a baby-room lead elsewhere. I have also been a live-in nanny for 2 families.
I currently work every other day during the week but am available Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends.
I have my own car and clean driving license, a Masters in Early Years Education with EYTS, I am a Paediatric First Aider, and DBS checked.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working with a range of young children of various ages; both in busy nursery environments and as a live-in nanny. Before going on maternity leave, I was in charge of the 0-2 year olds, as the baby-room lead at an outstanding nursery setting in Ashburnham. For the last 2 years I have been working in the pre-school room at a private nursery in Bexhill, raising children ages 3 & 4, helping to get them ready for starting school. Yet very recently moved settings to go back to working with babies. Across the years I have also had a lot of experience working closely with children with SEN.
My Qualifications
As mentioned, I have a Master’s degree in Early Years Education with EYTS. My first degree being in Event Management. I have completed Child Protection and Safeguarding training, I am on the DBS update system, and I am a paediatric first aider (renewed Oct 2025).
My Availability
I am currently available Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends.
