Warm, caring setting with low ratios

My daughter attended Syeda’s setting 3 days per week from 12 months to almost 2.5 - we plan to still visit for the occasional day while taking up a place at nursery.
I had a lot of worries about selecting a first childcare setting for my daughter when I went back to work. I chose Syeda after visiting a few options as I appreciated the familiar, homey setting, the commitment to going outside everyday rain or shine, and the excellent ratio of staff to children.
My daughter quickly developed a real bond with Syeda and her team members especially Liuba. She has enjoyed lots of craft activities, music, and daily expeditions to the park, children’s centre, library and museum.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Syeda and her team. She is warm, professional, communicates well and genuinely cares about all of the children in her setting. My daughter was always excited to go to her house and see her friends - at the weekend she would ask when she could go back, and I can’t think of any higher testimony.

Couldn’t be happier with experience

I am grateful to have found Jackie and would highly recommend her setting. My daughter, now nearly two and a half, has attended since 18 months.

As a first‑time mum looking for flexible childcare in a newly-established setting, I was initially anxious.
From the first visit Jackie’s experience, calm manner, and warmth reassured me. The environment is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully organised, with a wide range of accessible toys, activities, and outdoor space that promote independence and engagement.

Policies were clearly explained, and the settling‑in process was supportive and flexible. My daughter quickly formed a strong bond with Jackie and, over time, has developed lovely friendships with the other children. Jackie skilfully guides interactions in a kind and fair way.
Activities are always fun but also purposeful, linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. I’ve appreciated the monthly themes, and especially the daily updates and photos. My daughter looks forward to attending and always comes home happy, energised, and full of stories. Her social and language skills have grown significantly, and Jackie has been a reassuring source of advice on day‑to‑day challenges.
