About Me
My name is katherine louise cunnington, I’m 35 I love children, I'm kind caring and very experienced, I'm working in a nursery as a deputy manager and have been here for a year. I have in the past year completed my level 4 in childcare. I have completed my level 3 and my management level 3. I was a nanny for two lovely children, I was with the family for 2 years, I done daily household duties and cared for the children as if they were my own. We took trips in the holidays bike rides and picnics. before becoming a nanny I was full time at a day nursery in cambridge for 9 years where I received a huge amount of training and experience,
My Experience
I am currently working as a deputy manager in Cambridge I over see the daily needs of all the children, daily risk assess. Health and safety checks. Observing the children. Over see manger roles when manger is on leave. Daily nursery jobs include nappy changes, helping the children settle for a nap. Creative activities. Local walks.
Iv been working in a nursery for a year I have completed my level 3 in childcare and also I have completed my level 3 management.
I was a nanny, On a daliy basis i work with the children making sure they are happy and enjoying thier play, also I arrive in the morning getting the children up and dressed, and morning chores cleaning teeth and breakfast and leave for school, then during the day I have the youngest we spend time going to play centres the river to see the animals and park we spend time in the library looking at different books writing painting drawing.
I provide children with a healthy and varied snacks on a daily basis, i also cater to those with allergies and specific dietary requirements.
I aslo have experience of working with children with other conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis and PKU
I regularly babysit for children out of nursery in thier homes, sometimes i cook for them, give them a bath, read books and put them to bed, i also keep checking on the child until thier parents come home.
I have also got experience with babies as I was looking after a little girl on Mondays and Wednesdays for a few hours
