About Me
I have twenty years experience of teaching either in a primary or secondary environment. Main focus is English Maths Science or Music. I have had great success with clients in and around the area, you can read my reviews from looking up tuition for you Plymouth. I love Music and Art which is what I first did after leaving uni. I enjoy many things from English to Maths, to science to nature. All subjects are connected. I believe that learning should be in a fun cross curriculum way. I have a holistic approach of teaching and enjoy engaging with people of all different ages and backgrounds. I very much believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question.
My Experience
I’ve taught Music, English, Science, Maths, Art and Primary (KS 1 - 5). I`ve run my own department and worked as a specialist. As I’m also a musician I’ve taught guitar, cello, violin, keyboards and music theory. I use many different approaches to encourage development. I work with people with SEN problems (ASD,ADHD, Dyslexia ..).
Currently I work in and outside of schools from KS1 - Adult.
My Qualifications
Bmus(hon) Alevel Music, Btec performing arts and GCSE English Maths and Science all above c (or 5).
