Hi, my name is Debbie, I am married with twin daughters who are 23. They graduated with Honours in Anthropology and Marine Biology at Aberdeen University and are now studying post grads in IT and Primary School Teaching
I was born and brought up in Aberdeen and my husband was born and spent his childhood in Glasgow before moving to Aberdeen in later years. We have now lived in Portlethen for over 25 years.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder through Scotland Care Inspectorate (previously SCSWIS and Care Commission) and provided my service for over 17 years. I have now retired from childminding but want to continue providing care through baby sitting services at family homes.
I have found providing Childcare has been a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience both for myself and the children I have cared for. This has been backed up by completed questionnaires and thank you notes received from happy parents of children previously in my care.
I provide a happy, caring, stimulating and safe environment and always strive to continue a high level of service.
