About Me
I’m a qualified nanny looking for part time work. My current employers no longer need me and I’m looking for full two days per week.
I am 51 and I am mum to one son who is at university.
I have looked after children all my working life and feel passionately about supporting parents who work and providing a safe, fun, stimulating and happy environment for children. I enjoy seeing children flourish and grow in my care and feel it is very important to treat each child as an individual. I don’t believe in being too regimented, I believe children like routine but flexibility is important too.
I enjoy taking children out in the fresh air, I love reading to them and doing activities such as puzzles and games.
I am particularly patient with sensitive children and understand that some little ones take time to settle with someone new.
My Experience
I’ve got experience with a wide age range from premature twins up to teens.
I have also worked in a day nursery.
I have taken on house keeping roles with families with older children.
I have supervised medical appointments, arranged tutors and supported children with 11+ work and homework.
I am very organised and reliable.
I am an Ofsted registered nanny.
My Qualifications
B Tec Diploma in nursery nursing, a diploma in child psychology and an up to date first aid certificate.
