Nanny Wanted – North London
We are a friendly family of four living in North London. We have two children: a 6-year-old boy who attends school in Belsize Park and a 20-month-old girl who attends nursery in Golders Green.
We are looking for a kind, reliable, energetic and organised nanny to help care for our children and manage their day-to-day routines.
**Key responsibilities:**
**Childcare and daily routines**
- School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Providing attentive, engaging and age-appropriate care for both children.
- Organising activities, outings and playdates.
- Taking the children to after-school clubs and activities.
- Helping with homework, reading and educational activities.
- Managing our youngest child's routine, including meals, naps and nappy changes.
- Helping with bath time and evening routines when required.
**Meals and children's housekeeping**
- Planning and preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Keeping the children's bedrooms, playroom and belongings clean, tidy and organised.
- Managing the children's laundry, including washing, folding and putting clothes away.
- Keeping children's toys, equipment and school/nursery bags organised and ready for the following day.
- Helping with other light household tasks directly related to the children.
We would always aim to give as much notice as possible and appreciate someone who is understanding and adaptable to the occasional changes that come with our working schedules.
**What we're looking for**
Someone who is proactive, dependable and confident caring for children of different ages. We would value someone who can take initiative, manage the children's routines independently and create a happy, nurturing environment.

My Requirements
Working hours and flexibility
I work as a surgeon, so my working hours can vary depending on my hospital commitments, including theatre lists and clinics. We would agree regular working hours in advance, but we are looking for someone who can offer some flexibility when needed, particularly with occasional early starts, later finishes or changes to the usual routine.
