Hi, my name is Leah, and I have over nine years of experience working with children from the ages of 0-8. I love every little persona which comes with being part of a child's life, whether this is enabling the child to succeed, meeting milestones and growing their confidence, as well as all the dirty nappies and getting messy!
I am a friendly, caring, and approachable person and always up for a chat. The best part of working with children is growing a strong relationship with the child as well as parent partnership. My Experience
I have always had a passion for children ever since I was a young girl. I first started out babysitting in my local villages and then progressed to complete my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Studies, which I completed at Stamford College. Alongside my Level 3, I also had the opportunity of volunteering in schools and different nurseries, working with children from the ages of 0-8.
After completion of my qualifications, I gained myself a job at a nursery in Stamford. Since working there, I have looked after many lovely children and have grown strong relationships with their families. Whilst working with these families inside and outside the setting, I have become very popular for babysitting weekdays and weekends, which has inspired me to become a nanny!
I am currently a nanny and have been nannying for over three years now. I love every moment, and every day is different. The best part of the experience is watching the children grow every day and feeling a part of the extended family. Being a nanny, I have had the most amazing opportunities, spending time with families and even extending my nanning overseas.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, paediatric first aid trained, DBS checked, as well as, I have completed many online courses within the sector.
