My Requirements

Our number one childcare requirement is to find someone who is caring and can provide a safe and loving environment for our amazing boys. They all have brilliant, but different, personalities and make us laugh a lot so we’re hoping whoever comes to work with us will be able to enjoy time with them as much as we do. Our middle son has Down syndrome, so previous special needs experience is preferred but certainly not a requirement - he attends mainstream school with his brother and his main need is that he primarily uses makaton to communicate - we’re more than happy to pay for a makaton course for anyone looking to upskill!

My husband and I both work full time, so we are looking for someone who can work from 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Responsibilities are the typical you would expect, help getting the children ready in the morning, dropping them off at school, bringing our littlest out on outings / playgroups during the day, school pick up, help with homework, meal prep, and light childcare related housework.

We would prefer someone who is able to drive, as the kids school is about 10 minutes away by car (15-20 by bus) and we can provide use of a car during the day.

Our youngest is going to be starting school nursery in September in the mornings, but we don’t expect that to impact hours as we will still need support in the mornings and during school holidays so really we’re hoping to find someone who would like to work for a family longer term.

Our boys are brilliantly fun so hoping that we will find someone who loves them as much as we do :)
