Hi there, my name is Danielle.
I am a mature, calm, organised young lady. I am very patient, and love to work with kids.
I am very crafty and musical, and try to use these to my advantage at work to engage the children in fun games and activities that are both stimulating and educational.
I love to read and bake and cook.
I am the eldest of four, which has given me a 'muck in' attitude, as there are always things that need doing in a busy household - and any household that has children is always busy!!
I do have my own child who will need to come with me to any nanny job.
My Experience
I have experience working with children of a multitude of ages, ranging from newborns to nearly 14 years old.
I began working in childcare 10 years ago, helping run a toddler group, kids club and creche at my local church and worked with a local childminder during my A-Levels.
Once my A-Levels were complete, I started as an au pair in Germany, before coming back and beginning as a nanny, while doing an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, and upon completion moved to London to begin as a full time nanny.
I have a wide range of experience from my 7 years as a nanny. I have experience with large numbers of children (up to six at a time in a share). I have experience with twins, from newborn, to toddlers, to school age. I have experience with severe allergies - peanut allergies requiring an epi-pen, and other allergies such as milk allergies and other food intolerance's. I have experience planning educational activities and trips, potty training, sleep training and weaning. I also have experience working with children who have additional needs (Aspergers, and dyslexia.)
As well as my NVQ in childcare, I am also a level 4 qualified Maternity Nurse, and have stand alone qualifications in Breastfeeding Support, Sleep Training, Working with Multiple Babies, and Post Natal Depression Support.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 Diploma in childcare.
I hold an enhanced DBS check.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate.
I am also willing to becoming Ofsted Registered.
I am a level 4 qualified Maternity Nurse, and have done training in Sleep Training, Working with Multiple Babies, Breastfeeding Support, and Post Natal Depression Support.
