About Me

My name is Akasha and I run Goldilocks Childminding from my house in Fant.
I am passionate about providing outstanding childcare in my home based setting. I worked in a nursery for 2 years before starting my training to become a childminder. I have 2 children of my own (2 years and 7 years) so I have lots of experience in caring for children and my setting will feel more like a second home than a nursery. I am very familiar with EYFS so your child will be constantly learning while they play!

My Experience

I have been a registered childminder for nearly 3 years now and received an Ofsted rating of strong in all areas at my recent inspection. Before registering as a childminder I worked at a nursery for 2 years and I have 2 children of my own.

My Qualifications

I am a registered childminder. I am fully DBS checked and have recently renewed my paediatric first aid. I have a qualification in understanding children’s mental health and I am passionate about extending my qualifications and expanding my knowledge of children and childcare.
