About Me
I am a 26 year old female, who is bubbly, fun, creative and organised. I have always wanted to be around children, hence why I have been a fully qualified English teacher for 3 years, with experience in both primary and secondary and always spending time with my 4 year old nephew!
I have just left the teaching career and I am now offering nannying and baby sitting services, predominantly through the week and evenings but can be available some weekends if needed. Due to my experience as a teacher, I can also offer tutoring services for English, History, Sociology (secondary and A level), and most subjects for primary. I am available any time from now (17th July 2022).
My Experience
I have been a fully qualified English teacher for 3 years and also have experience teaching English as a second language. I have worked in primary schools as a teaching assistant, alongside being a Brownie Guide Leader and a volunteer at Daisy Chain Autism centre. I have experience in baby sitting from ages 4 months- 12 years and experience teaching English to ages 7-18. I have worked as a Camp Counsellor in America for 2 years, specialising in Music and arts and crafts and have worked in Vietnam for 2 years, with ages 6-16. With both my teaching experience, and looking after youngsters in my family, I am confident with morning and night time routines, child friendly cooking and snacks, nappy changing, potty training, organising fun and educational activities, homework help and so on. I have a recent DBS and a full driving licence.
My Qualifications
11 GCSE A*-C
4 A levels- ABBB
2:1 degree in English language
PGCE in secondary school English
Masters in forensic linguistics
Teaching certificate in TEFL
First aid certified
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday at all times and can be available some weekends if needed. If overnight was needed it could be arranged if it was at your house, I currently live in a flat with a high balcony, which wouldn’t be the most suitable for children.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Depending on the service and time needed. Negotiable
