About Me
Highly successful, flexible and reliable 7+, 8+, 10+ and 11+ tutor. I am a current headteacher, a mother of two grown up sons and more recently a nan to my first grandchild. I tutor for all entrance exam subjects competently: English, Mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, in addition to more general primary tutoring. Homework is given dependent on need and requirement to consolidate, extend or assess learning.
My Experience
I have been a qualified and experienced teacher for over 18 years, including posts as head teacher in Barnet and in Surrey and a teaching and learning consultant for the London borough of Hackney. I enjoy tutoring as I believe that one-to-one tutoring works wonders with primary age children. I believe that tutoring enables children to learn in the way and at the pace that best suits them and that establishing a good relationship with children is is fundamental to success.

I work full time but am available after school, in the evenings or at the weekend.
