My Requirements

I am looking for a patient, reliable and hands-on nanny/family support worker for my four-year-old twin boys. Both boys are pre/minimally verbal and have additional communication and developmental needs, so experience with SEND, autism or speech and language difficulties would be strongly preferred.

I am looking for more than occasional babysitting. I would like someone consistent who can become an extra pair of hands and help the boys develop their independence. Support would include toilet training, feeding themselves, dressing, washing and personal care, communication, play and following consistent daily routines.

Sometimes I will be at home and the nanny will work alongside me. At other times, the nanny will have sole care so I can rest, have personal time, attend appointments or study. I may also need additional childcare in the future if I return to work or education.

I would initially like one regular weekday after-school/evening session, ideally Thursday from approximately 3:00–7:00/8:00 pm. I would also like flexible availability on Saturdays and Sundays during the daytime or evening. Weekend care will not necessarily be needed every week and would usually be booked one to two weeks in advance.

An enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid and references are required. Please confirm whether your rate covers both twins and whether weekend or evening rates differ.
