About Me

We are looking for an 5 day a week afterschool nanny who has the flexibility to increase to full days during school holidays for our two children (age 3 and 6) in Hackney near Victoria Park.

The role is 5 days a week, ideal hours we are looking for are 2:30-7 during term time and increasing to full days during school holidays (there are around 12 weeks per year of school holidays which would be confirmed well in advance).

They are both at the same school which is a short walk across the park and back, there is a great community of school friends/nannies/parents which nearly always results in play dates or a walk home with friends.

We are looking for someone who is confident with the children out and about on adventures during school holidays, happy to organise/take them on playdates, prepare healthy meals for the kids, and keep them safe and entertained (and throw an epic dance party) - our current nanny has been with us full time for 3 years and has been an amazing addition to the family, she is due to leave for her new family in September 26 so we are looking for someone who can start then.

Our children love exploring the world around them, music and dance, reading stories, cooking, and being outside. They both have wonderful imaginations, love make believe play and are the best of buddies.

It’s important to us that our children grow up to be happy, kind, confident, well mannered and brave to try new things. As a family we love music, food and making things - we hope to show our children all of what the world can offer and let them find their own passions too.
