Registered Childminder Job In Castle Point
About Me
Hi, I’m Mia I’m a single mum to a lovely little girl who is and will be turning 3 in April. She’s happy, chatty, and curious, and loves getting out and about, playtime, books, and routine.
I work at Southend Hospital and will be returning to work around April. I work shift patterns, mainly day shifts on certain weeks, and I always receive my rota around 6 weeks in advance. Weekends are usually covered by family, but I’m looking for weekday childcare to support my return to work.
I’m entitled to the 30 hours funded childcare and I’m open to flexible arrangements to make things work. I’m ideally looking for someone kind, reliable, and experienced who would be happy to work with shift patterns.
I’m friendly, approachable, and happy to chat through any questions. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
My Requirements
work long day shifts (7am–7:30pm), so I would ideally need an early start around 6:30–6:45am, depending on location.
In most cases, a family member is able to collect my daughter between 5–6pm, so full-day care wouldn’t usually be needed. My family support me where they can, and some weeks I may not need childcare at all. However, there will be weeks where I do require care, and I’m really keen for my daughter to build a secure, trusting relationship with one consistent caregiver so she feels settled when those weeks arise.
I’m looking for someone reliable, kind, and flexible, who understands shift work and is happy to work with rotas provided in advance. My aim is continuity and stability for my daughter, rather than ad-hoc care.
