About Me

Hi, I’m Ellie, based in Cambridge (CB3). I’m calm, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children.
I have a background in healthcare, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and a warm, patient, and empathetic approach when working with children and families.
I’m available for weekend babysitting (Friday–Sunday evenings) and happy to help with one-off or regular bookings.
I have a strong interest in wellbeing and enjoy encouraging children to stay active and engaged, whether through outdoor play, movement, or creative activities. I also enjoy art and music, and like bringing these into time spent with children.
I’m happy to prepare healthy, balanced meals and support calm evening routines, creating a safe, relaxed, and positive environment.

My Experience

I have experience working with children through volunteering and informal childcare. During my studies, I took part in a programme working with children aged 7–9 to help them feel more comfortable in healthcare settings through play and interaction.
I have also volunteered in hospital environments supporting children through creative and engaging activities, helping to create a positive and reassuring atmosphere during their stay.
In addition, I have provided first aid support at youth sports events, where I regularly managed minor injuries in a calm and responsible way.
Alongside this, I have cared for children of family and friends over the years and feel confident managing routines such as playtime, meals, and bedtime.

My Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (via NHS employment)
• Paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Level 3 Safeguarding (Children)
• University degree
• Musical training (including advanced harmony)
• Languages: English, Greek, Italian

Additional skills:
• Piano, guitar and singing
• Latin and ballroom dancing

My Availability

I am available for babysitting on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including evenings.
I am also open to overnight babysitting if required.
