Part Time Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in Crawley
About Me
A warm and welcoming family in Ifield is looking for a reliable, experienced part-time nanny to care for their two children—a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl—during weekday evenings.
Both children have additional needs (autism, global development delay and ADHD), so applicants must have previous experience supporting children with additional needs and be confident providing a calm, structured and nurturing environment.
This is a sole-charge position working for an emergency services parent, making reliability and flexibility particularly important. The family would ideally like one nanny to cover all available shifts but are happy to consider two candidates if needed.

Responsibilities
Collecting the children from school and bringing them home.
Preparing and serving their evening meal.
Making packed lunches for the following school day (when required).
Supporting bath time and bedtime routines.
Feeding the family's Cockapoo (no dog walking required).
Keeping the kitchen and any areas used clean and tidy, including washing up after meals.
Hours
Every Monday and Tuesday: 2:30pm – 10:00pm
Additional Wednesday and Saturday shifts available on a rota provided in advance.
