About Me
Hi all, I'm a 57 years and married to a firefighter. I have twin girls (so I know what multi tasking and organisation is all about!) both in teaching and two sons one a primary school teacher and my eldest is a firefighter. I'm friendly, sociable, outgoing and known for being tremendously calm and a fantastic listener! Hands on in all areas with children and babies - with untold patience and a big focus on Learning through play to develop little minds.
My Experience
14 years as a HLTA in primary school, and have my level 3 qualification, the last 10 specialising in EYFS so am hands on for reading and homework support. I’ve been a professional nanny for 4 years now and adore spending time with children and helping them learn through play and get the very best start in life. I have untold experience looking after babies and toddlers and currently have some more availability so I’m looking for new adventures!
My Qualifications
8 O'levels. Distinction in Level 3 teaching assistant qualification. I've been on numerous courses learning about developing children's well being, autism and other special needs. I am qualified in booster programs such as talk boost and NELI and trained in the Read Write Inc (Ruth Miskin) reading program.
