About Me

Hi, my name is Rebecca I am 22 and I’m looking for a full time nannying position.

Someone asked me why I wanted to become a nanny:
Originally I would say it’s because I grew up being one of 10 children meaning I’ve always been around them and enjoyed spending time with them. But now if you ask me 5 years into my nannying career I would say it’s because everyday is a different day with children. Everyday is a learning curve, for both children and myself. For children it’s growing and adapting to everyday lifestyle and letting them reach their targets. For me personally it’s bringing something new everyday. Paying key attention to their interests which are always adapting. Especially food. One day a spag bowl can be their favourite food and the next day they’ll say they dislike it. I believe it’s important to pay attention to the little details of children’s lives to show a form of interest. This will help children to become confident in talking and expressing themselves/ their feelings to others. It’s important to get to no the child on a one-to-one level so I can always bring and adapt fun activities/games per their age, progress and enjoyment.
Praising a child for their achievements will always promote children to go above and beyond in their steps to growing up.
