About Me
Lawyer (currently looking for new self-employed options) & v busy mum to 3 kids, youngest with additional needs, the other 2 almost all grown up!
My Requirements
Immediate start ideally (open to short wait for right nanny/manny!!!). Role is to keep our lovely 11 year old boy safe and happy, at home in Cookham, both after school and in the school holidays.
Our son has SEN; very occasional seizures (he is on medication). He is very sporty and loves football, basketball and tennis! We are therefore looking for a driver to take him to clubs (using a family car) who has a reasonable level of fitness & energy for garden games (male applicants encouraged!)!
Competing gross hourly rate, varying depending on age & experience level. Self-employed only and PT please. Negotiable PT hours (15-20max)
We have a soppy, well behaved golden lab who we've been training to be a good assistance/ companion dog for our son.
Please message me if sounds interesting and we can have a chat.
We have found excellent carers through this site. Our son's last nanny was with us for 10 years! One of our weekend carers (who we have had for 6 years, since she was 15, wrote a nice little summary of her experience (family references available from both of these LT carers).
"I worked for the Haywards for six years and have absolutely loved caring for T. During this time I cared for him in the home, abroad and within the UK. I have enjoyed growing my skills as a carer, getting to know the family and watching T grow up. I’m so sad to be leaving the family but am unable to continue as I am moving away. I would highly recommend this caring position to anyone interested in care work, learning disabilities support or looking to go into the fields of psychology, social care or neuroscience." Lilly
(She is moving to London to do a PhD in Neuroscience and we're really proud!) :-)
