About Me
My name is Yamit Adler. I am an Ofsted registered childminder, and run Nature Nurtured Childcare in Herne Bay. I love caring for children! I enjoy being part of their journey of growing and developing in a loving, caring and supporting environment that will help them thrive, smile, laugh, and enjoy life!
Every child is Unique. Every child has their own rhythm. That is why I called my setting Nature Nurtured Childcare - where every child is being loved and nurtured with respect and acceptance of their own nature and character.
I speak 5 languages - Hebrew; English; Italian; Spanish; Arabic. I always like to learn new words in any language! This has also enhanced my passion and interest to learn about other traditions and cultures.
My Experience
Since I was a teenager, I had a passion for kids! I was babysitting, and working in kids' clubs during holidays. After finishing my studies in Education and Criminology, I was drawn into a new world. It was Scuba Diving. During my years as a diving instructor I also trained children with special needs. It made me so happy to see them achieving their targets. I was proud to be able to provide them with the support and help they needed and finally certify them as scuba divers.
Seeing my daughter grow and develop, and experiencing it all first hand, gave me a lot of pleasure, some frustrations, and raised a lot of questions. I explored, learned, read a lot, and took in all kind of recommendations, suggestions, advice and different approaches. A wonderful world of options opened in front of me. That was when I realised that I wanted to do that forever - caring for children!
My greatest ambition is that every child will feel secure and confident in my home and my care. I want them to feel that they are loved. That will allow them to open up to a world of wonders. They will have endless opportunities to develop, explore, and learn through play, and always to just have fun!
My Qualifications
Pre-registration course to become a registered childminder.
L3 in safeguarding.
Paediatric first aid.
CPD certificates in: - The English education system
- Keeping up with children's Maths
- Managing children's behaviour
- Keeping up with children's English
- Fire safety principles
- L3 in food safety
- Running a childminding business
My Availability
I am very flexible. Weekends, half terms, and bank holidays can be accommodated. Please contact me so we can discuss in person about your and your child's needs.
I can drop off/collect from Herne Bay infant school, Herne Bay Juniors school, and nurseries and other settings within a walking distance from my setting.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.90 per hour
The standard fee includes morning healthy snack (between breakfast and lunch) and afternoon healthy snack (between lunch and dinner). During the day the child will have constant independent access to water or milk.
Playgroups entry fees are included in this rate, unless a particular extra expense will be discussed with parents/guardians in advance.
There are available options of including breakfast, lunch, and cooked dinner for extra charge. Please discuss this directly with Yamit.

Yamit was very accommodating and flexible during the settling in period. She supported a completely child lead schedule which allowed him to become accustomed to being seperated from me without causing too much distress. She persevered and won his trust and now he really enjoys being with her in her setting.
Yamit takes them out several times per day to play groups, library, beach, museum, playground, shops. So the children get a great exposure to the community which is full of interactive learning opportunities. I feel lucky to have such confidence that he is in safe hands, I can hand him over and not worry while I focus on my work. Thank you Yamit, it feels as though you take care of all of us!

Incredibly caring towards our children!
Our kids took an instant like to Yamit. With our baby always opening her arms for a hug when she sees Yamit :-)
Yamit is very professional and takes her job as a child minder incredibly seriously. She is aware of their developmental needs and keeps a keen eye on ensuring they are developing as they should. We like that she is always out with the kids, regardless of the weather and always has new ideas of fun activities to do together. We would definitely recommend Yamit as a child minder.

Yamit provides excellent care. My daughter (aged 5) is always happy after a visit to Yamit's house, which is spotlessly clean, and warm and welcoming. Yamit provides a range of activities to suit the age and interests of the child. Highly recommended.
