Conaty Family
Part Time Nanny Job in London Borough Of Enfield
About Me
We have a 5 year old son and 1 month old daughter.
My Requirements
We are looking for a kind, calm and caring part-time nanny/family helper to come to our home in Enfield and help us with our two children.
We are looking for 3 days per week, preferably Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from around 1:00pm (or earlier) until 6:00pm/6:30pm. We can be flexible with the exact times, especially while our baby is still very young, and we are looking for someone who can become a regular and trusted part of our family.
About the role
Our main focus is supporting our newborn daughter, Camila. She is still very young, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable with newborns and can help with:
Settling Camila for naps and helping her get used to sleeping in her cot
Holding and carrying her when she needs extra comfort when sleeping.
Spending time with her when she is awake, including tummy time and gentle age-appropriate activities
Helping us gradually establish a good daily routine as she grows
Taking her for walks when appropriate
Giving mum some time to shower, eat, cook, rest, work or simply have a little time for herself
Our son Jonathan is 5 and is at school until around 3:30pm. Once he is home, we would also love some help with him — for example, serving a snack/dinner, playing with him, doing activities together, or keeping him company while mum is looking after Camila. And vice versa, helping with Camila while mum spends some time with Jonathan.
We are looking for someone who is warm, patient, reliable and genuinely enjoys being around children, particularly someone with experience caring for newborns.
The role is very much about being an extra pair of hands and becoming someone we can trust and feel comfortable having in our home.
