About Me

My name is Amanda wigfield (precious gems childminding) Iv worked with children of all ages from birth for over 30 years. I am a fully qualified childminder with many qualifications including NVQ 3 in childcare. I am ofsted registered and have been childminding for 21 years since my first little boy was born.Previously i have worked in Nursery's and schools. I offer before & after school and full time places. I live on my own and have 2 boys aged 23 and 12 years old who mean the world to me & love playing with other children .

My Experience

I have worked with children since i was 16 years of age. I started off working in a school as a teachers assistant then i run an after school club for a while until i moved. I have worked in private nursery's until i became pregnant then decided to childmind so i could be there for my little boy. I love my job and find it very challenging and rewarding .

My Qualifications

Nvq qualified, I have a first aid certificate & many more .

My Availability

I now have a full time place available to start in September 2025.
