About Me
Hi, I'm Stacy. I run my childminding setting just off The Glade in Shirley and offer childcare for children 18 months/2 years plus. After completing my training with my agency, I opened in October 2021 with great success. With the help of my 2 wonderful assistants, who are amazing with the children, we run a busy setting 4 days a week. We care for 4-8 children each day, which gives your child the opportunity to experience a home from home setting with the added denefit of developing their social skills. It's the perfect middle step from home to school.
I am EYFS trained, DBS checked, Ofsted Approved, fully insured as well as first aid certified. I also provided funded places for all schemes and ages.
My setting is warm, fun and friendly whilst providing a varied and stimulating environment for children to play, learn, develop and most importantly feel valued! I follow the 'Development Matters' framework which ensures your child hits their development milestones. This also aids me to support your child every step of the way to Big School! I have a good size garden for the children to enjoy, play and run. We like to get outside as much as possible and we take the children to local playgroups, parks, farms and soft play.
In November 2023, I was awarded a "GOOD with excellent qualities" during my Ofsted visit, which is a great achievement. If you would like to know more or to discuss your requirements please get in touch.
My Experience
I am a mum. The best and most relevant experience any childcare provider can gain is through their own child(ren). Nothing will ever prepare you or throw you in the deep end quite like having your own! This hands on experience is supported by my extensive EYFS knowledge and continued training and support provided by my agency.
My Qualifications
I am with a fantastic agency, who provided me with the best and up-to-date training to ensure I provide the best level of care and learning for children of all ages (0-10 years). My agency continue to support me by providing additional training to ensure I keep learning and developing my knowledge.
I have intensive knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding. I am first aid certified, DBS checked, insured and Ofsed approved. I have also completed additional training in prevent duties, FGM and food hygiene, which I was awarded level 5 during my last food inspection visit.
My Availability
from September 2025, I have availability for Monday and Tuesday only with potential for other days to open up. My usual opening days and hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00-5:30. School holiday hours are Monday-Thurday 9:00-5:30

- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
My fees start from £8.50 per hour.
