My Experience
I am a Teaching Assistant at a Primary school and a mum to three wonderful children.
I am very confident at caring for children of all ages as I have a wealth of experience looking after babies , toddlers, primary and secondary school children.
I have a keen interest in children's mental health and Autism and I have undertaken continued professional development in these areas.
I have worked closely with children and adults who have special educational needs and I can confidently adapt my practice to ensure any child is happy and comfortable.
I can communicate well with all different personalities, and will be able to provide reassurance and support to any child I am looking after.
Due to my school experience, I can help any with homework- Maths, English, Phonics SATS revision etc
I am confident with first aid and keeping children safe as I have completed various children's first aid courses through school training.
Due to my experience as a mother, (6 years, 9 years and 10 years old), I have a wealth of experience in understanding how children develop from babies right through the years. I am able to find mutually enjoyable activities and relate to children so they feel comfortable in my company, regardless of age or interests.
I am fully supportive of any routine or special arrangements that you have in place for your child, so you can trust that your child will be cared for exactly how you would care for them.

Level 2 qualification in Understanding the mental health of children and young people

My Availability
I can provide childcare in the evenings and at weekends on a regular arrangement or one-off basis.
I have my own transportation and can travel around Uckfield, Lewes and surrounding areas.

I have been looking for a babysitter for my kids for a while now , fortunately I found Emma, she was punctual, great etiquette, very polite and all round pleasant to deal with. My kids really enjoyed having Emma around and are already asking when next she’d be around! I would highly recommend. Thank you Emma
