About Me
I have been a registered childminder since 2003. I am an Early Years Teacher and also have 8 years experience leading the teaching and learning of a local PreSchool including 3 years as the Manager.
I live in a 17 century farmhouse overlooking the countryside with a mature garden great for children to explore.
I provide natural learning for children and love to spend lots of time outside in nature. Wellbeing is a very important part of my ethos and I provide a cosy and safe environment both physically and emotionally.
My Experience
I worked as a private Nanny from the age of 17 living with the family and having sole charge of two preschool children. Since having my own children (now 20,16 and 14). I have been a registered childminder for 20 years and have worked both on my own and with assistants who initially came to me on placement from college. More recently I have been a manager of an outstanding local preschool, with 12 staff and 49 families.
I decided to open my home to families who want high quality care and education with all the comforts of a home from home environment. Not your usual nursery or childminder but something in between. Together we will be in nature, grow fruit and vegetables, cook, care for the animals as well as each other and learn all about the world we live in. We will stay cosy in the winter and cool in the summer and each day will be full of wonder and opportunities, visiting local places, parks and children’s groups and immerse ourselves in the local community.

My Availability
The garden room at Rosary Farm opened to families on 4 January 2022. It is a bespoke design with a calm environment based on a “hygge” approach and has free flow access to the garden all day long. I offer childcare from 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday including home cooked meals. I can also offer some limited term term only contracts for education professionals who do not need childcare in the school holidays if I have children who will take these places in the school holidays. This means you will only pay for the childcare you need.
The children here have a sense of belonging and parents can leave their children in our care knowing they will have the best time and their needs will be fully met.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fee’s will be based on £5 per hour and can be paid weekly or monthly, all year round or term time only depending on availability.
