About Me

I am a qualified primary school teacher, covering the age range of 4-11. I am offering weekend (Friday and/ or Saturday) babysitting for children and young people of ages 4+. I have completed a Level 2 safeguarding course and a Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I am also studying towards a counselling course for children and adolescents. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in most year groups at a local primary school, including assisting children who have additional needs as well as with the rest of the class.

My Experience

Babysitting 3 children of ages 3, 8 and 11 years old when I was 18 for a year and I am a qualified primary school teacher. I have worked with children and young people with physical, emotional, learning and behavioural difficulties as well as taught English as a foreign language. I have worked with children and young people for over 15 years. I currently babysit for 3 young males between the ages of 9-13 and have done so for the last 3 years, regularly each month. I am currently studying towards a Masters in Social Work at university and work as a tutor in two different tutor jobs, one of which is supporting an 11 year old non-verbal child.

My Qualifications

PGCE with QTS, with Outstanding in Behaviour Management. DBS, Level 3 Health and Social Care, Level 2 Safeguarding.

My Availability

I am available on weekday and weekend evenings for babysitting. I am available regularly on weekends and then for weekday babysitting, I will need a bit more advanced notice and am only able to do this occasionally as I tutor 4 days a week - with flexibility. I am looking to support more families with more regular babysitting.
