Hi! I’m Roisin, I’m 25 year old
I support multiple families with ad hoc childcare, including babysitting, school pick-ups, school holiday care, overnight stays, weekend support, travel nannying and emergency childcare. I absolutely love building lasting relationships with families, and many of the families I work with continue to book me regularly through recommendations.
I’m passionate about creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment where children feel happy, confident and supported. Whether we’re getting outdoors, doing arts and crafts, baking, reading stories or simply enjoying imaginative play, I love planning activities that suit each child’s interests and stage of development.
I’m also a huge animal lover and hold a Level 2 qualification in Animal Care, so I’m always happy to help in homes with pets!

My Experience
I have over 8 years of professional childcare experience caring for children from 4 months through to teenagers and young adults. My experience includes private nannying, babysitting, childminding, early years settings, mainstream schools and SEN schools, with extensive experience supporting children with additional needs, including ADHD, ADD and autism.
As part of my previous nanny and childminding roles, I’ve supported families with everything from bottle feeding, weaning and potty training to preparing nutritious meals, school pick-ups, homework, bedtime routines, organising fun days out and creating safe, stimulating environments where children can learn and grow.
Over the past years, I have worked with multiple families on an ad hoc basis through recommendations, providing flexible childcare that fits around each family’s individual needs. I have now transitioned to offering temporary, ad hoc, overnight, travel, weekend and holiday childcare.
I am confident providing sole charge care for children and managing the responsibility of caring for two or more children at the same time. Through my nannying, babysitting and childcare experience, I have cared for children of different ages and developmental stages, including siblings and twins. I am comfortable balancing different routines, personalities and individual needs while ensuring every child receives appropriate attention and support.
My Qualifications
DBS - on the yearly update service ( they no longer send out the paper DBS yearly. The the one I have on here says 2024 but it is up to date.)
Full Paediatric first aid
Level 1 in safeguarding in a learning environment
Level 2 in Animal care
level 3 in supporting teaching and learning
Currently studying Early Years Care Education Course, OCN Level 2&3 Accredited

My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
extra fees for late arrivals with no notice and caring for extra children of friends or other family members
