About Me
I am a professional, hard working individual. I have a passion for childcare and development and have a lot of love and time to give. I am also passionate about understanding mental health needs and have experience managing difficult behaviours shown as a result of ADHD, tourettes, bipolar etc. My life has revolved around coping with ADHD, autism and tourettes within the family, this has created a drive in me to promote awareness and actively support in any way that I can. I enjoy singing, dancing and acting on stage and love nothing better than engaging children in song and dance play (I think I often have more fun if I'm honest!)
My Experience
I worked with children from the ages of 2 1/12 - 18 for over 10 years. I understand their emotional and physical developmental needs at the various stages in their lives. I am able to appropriately encourage development and growth to enable them to reach their desired skill level. Skills I promote include physical, emotional and social. All areas are important in the overall growth of a child and can be addressed indirectly during training sessions and general conversation. I currently have 1 and 3 year old nephews and play an active role in their upbringing. I am confident in managing difficult behaviours and creating behavioural plans when appropriate. I am a qualified toddler gymnastics, trampoline, cheerleading, swimming and softball coach so have a lot of knowledge and fun activities to pass on.
