About Me
Hi i am shannon, i am 21 years old and very passionate about my work. I have worked in the care setting for over 2 and half years. I have my NVQ 2 and Double diploma NVQ 3 in care. Currently studying my NVQ 4. I loved playing rugby however due to a knee injury i have had to stop. I am still very active and it hasn’t affected my ability. I am full DBS checked and first aid trained. I have always wanted to focus full time caring for children.
My Experience
I currently have 2 jobs in the Care setting. This involves working with and supporting a variety of different service users. Montessori Nurseries, Dementia Care homes, disabilities for young children and adults and support work. I also look after my younger sister a couple of times a week, cooking her dinner, helping with homework, and taking her on days out. She is now 11.
My Qualifications
Health and social care Level 2 , double diploma Health and Social Care level 3. DBS checked, First aid training.
My Availability
I am looking at full time or even a couple days a week, which i can then continue to work in the care industry, fitting my hours at work around child care.
