Morning SEN Driver & Carer (Own Vehicle)
• Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Driver & Carer (Morning Shift)
• Location: Pick-up from Winchmore Hill (N21) to School in Maidenhead (SL6)
• Hours: 1.75 hours per week (One morning per week, Mon–Fri) - with scope for additional hours
• Shift Time: 07:30 – 09:15
• Pay Rate: Competitive & Negotiable (Available as Self-Employed Gross or PAYE. Petrol mileage paid).
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, calm, and experienced Driver/Carer to transport a lovely 12-year-old autistic boy to his school once a week. He is mild-mannered, with minimal language and interaction, making for a peaceful journey.
You will collect him from his home in Winchmore Hill at 07:30 and drive him to his school in Maidenhead (approx. 60–90 mins), arriving for 09:15. Once the drop-off is complete, your shift is finished, leaving your afternoon completely free.
Requirements
• Experience: Previous experience working with special educational needs (Autism/ADHD preferred).
• Driving Profile: Safe driver with a valid, clean UK driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Vetting: Must hold (or be willing to undergo) an Enhanced DBS check.
• Traits: Punctual, highly reliable, patient, and calm under pressure.
