My Summary

My Experience

I have 4 years of diverse childcare experience, including babysitting, full time nannying, and live-in au pair roles. I have cared for children of different ages, supporting their growth and development, building strong relationships with families, and honing my skills and passion for childcare.
From January -August 2023, I worked in France providing compassionate care for a newborn, focusing on physical, emotional, and developmental needs. I established and maintained routines, engaged in age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, reading to him, and encouraging language skills through music. I ensured the baby’s well-being through attentive monitoring and communication with parents. I supported the family with household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
From January 2024 I cared for two toddlers in a live-in role in Brisbane Australia, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. I managed daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime, and organized activities to support motor, cognitive, and emotional development. I fostered healthy habits, read daily to encourage language skills, and maintained open communication with the parents.
I have most recently worked as a full time nanny to a 2 year old. I supported social and educational development through Montessori techniques and play. I introduced phonics learning, at the request of parents, saw amazing progress in this child, going from recognising letter sounds, to being able to read simple words at the age of 2.5! I created a safe environment, and organised activities to foster key development and well being.

My Qualifications

Aside from academic qualifications including A-levels, I have basic first aid training and an enhanced DBS check too. I have knowledge on children’s healthcare, and enhanced emergency medicine/first aid.

My Availability

Evening babysitting, and maximum 12 hrs per week nannying/childcare.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.50 per hour (net)

These rates are baseline and subject to change in the case of multiple children, anti-social hours, extra tasks etc.
